Product philosophy
Buying a good ingredient and creating one are different undertakings. RIMAN chose the second.
Why it starts with the ingredient
Most cosmetics companies buy their raw materials. When you buy, you cannot verify each time which field the material came from or how much active content it holds. RIMAN set out to change that.
The company bred Centella asiatica into a new variety, Giant BYoungPool, and built the world's first Centella smart farm on Jeju to grow it. Creating a variety means controlling the starting point of the ingredient yourself.
Delivery is the next problem. Including a good ingredient and getting it to reach the skin are not the same thing — which is why the ASK Group affiliates research delivery technologies such as liposomes, microfluidizers and exosomes.

Raw materials
RIMAN developed Giant BYoungPool, higher in active content than conventional Centella asiatica, and built the world's first Centella smart farm in a clean zone of Jeju. Combined with Jeju lava seawater it produces Lava BYoungPool Water.
